WINK’s Madeline Relph joins forces with The Wild Girls
“I started the Wild Girls at the beginning of 2015 mainly because I had moved from London to Asia, and wanted a way to still work with all the amazing models & creatives from London producing great editorial work, without having to constantly be back in the freezing cold! The idea of The Wild Girls was to create a really strong, all female presence using the best female fashion talent, and to go to amazing exotic locations around the world. We started taking select brands with us, keeping rates low by spreading the logistics costs between all the brands. This allowed us to book great models, and carry on producing our editorial work. Most of us still do not take a wage for our time, we do it because we love to do it and who travel, create, film, write and shoot etc.”
Amberly, along with Maddy, are off to Morocco in May, then hopefully back to India in September for the Pushkar Camel Fair, and Aruba in October to shoot with wild flamingoes
“We would love to see the Wild Girls concept become more of a brand, and start developing content towards a magazine and online platform for female creatives world wide. Currently we are working on our website and trying to handle all the enquiries!”
